Suck Rock
The famous Suck Rock point break is part of beautiful set of Santa Teresa beaches, next to the La Lora
beach break.
Suck Rock is a right-hand break, and can get quite large. The swell needs to be overhead to create a good
ride-able wave. There are rumors of people surfing 20-ft waves from time to time. Surf photographers
often hang out on the beach in front of Suck Rock and take photos or make videos for surfers, for a
price of course.
Nearby Places to Stay:
Blue Surf Sanctuary: Four gorgeously designed bungalows
and Billabong surf school.
